IF NOT NOW - About
WHAT IS IT?
If Not Now is a 5 month community social justice training and volunteering experience for Jewish Year 10 Students.
Participants will come together for regular sessions, developing personal skills, engaging around social justice issues, and sometimes just having fun!
Getting involved in If Not Now will help you develop personal skills that you can use through school, university, and into your professional life.
If Not Now will look great on your resume, allow you to connect with like-minded people, and enable you to make a difference in the world on your own terms.
WHO SHOULD JOIN?
Any Jewish student going into year 10 in 2016. All you need is an interest in social justice!
Participate in a social justice immersion seminar on 21 February 2016
Participate in weekly sessions from March – June
Volunteer in a small group –
We will also support you by running the social justice immersion seminar, running fortnightly educational seminars, provide mentoring throughout your volunteering placements (our mentors are volunteers too!), provide you with a certificate of achievement to celebrate your involvement, and we will also help you find pathways to continue in the future.

Attend the immersion seminar
Commit to attending weekly meetings from March – June
$180 to cover seminar and meeting costs (note that costs are kept low as all mentors are also volunteers. No participant will be turned away due to financial reasons.)
